Why Work For Us

Working With Us

We’re a fantastic place to work!

Well, we would say that, wouldn’t we? But it’s actually true.

Our staff really matter to us; we expect people to work hard and do their best for the children in our schools, but in return we believe in a healthy work-life balance, opportunities for personal and professional development and a culture in our schools where staff are recognised and valued for their effort and excellence.

All our employees have access to the Teachers Pension Scheme/Local Government Pension Scheme (depending on your role) and a childcare voucher scheme to help you save money on childcare costs.

Individual schools within the Trust offer other benefits such as free tea and coffee for staff, access to an onsite gym, wellbeing support and car valeting.

If that piques your interest, take a look at our current vacancies.

We tweet details of new vacancies as soon as they are advertised: follow us @NAmbitionTrust on Twitter.

Trust Welcome Brochure and Application Forms

We’re proud of what we do here and love showing visitors around our schools. Potential applicants are encouraged to contact the relevant school to arrange a visit before submitting their application. Please telephone the school directly on the number given in the advert.

If you’d like an informal chat about any of the posts before submitting your application, please contact the person named in the advert – they will be happy to answer any questions.

To apply for any of our vacancies, download and complete a copy of our application form and send it back to HR@northernambition.org.uk or in hard copy to HR Department, Northern Ambition Academies Trust at our registered office. Please write ‘application form enclosed’ in top left corner of the envelope.

To make the process fair, we only accept applications on our own application form. No CVs or agencies, thank you.

Data Protection

We comply with this right by providing ‘privacy notices’ (sometimes called ‘fair processing notices’) to individuals where we are processing their personal data.

Click on the link below read our privacy notice setting out how we will process your data during the recruitment process.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
